(More customer reviews)Just as described, this converts a 3/4" fitting into a 1/2" fitting. I used it to insert a hose faucet just upstream from my showerhead so I didn't have to fix the leaky original valve behind the wall. The faucets are all 3/4" on the downstream side, so this fitting brings the size back down to the 1/2" showerheads require. Solid and simple, could be cheaper.
