(More customer reviews)In the current heat wave, I am watering two dozen recently planted large trees. I needed a filter that fitted the end of the suction hose in my 250 gal. water tank. The hose needs to remain close to the bottom of the tank in order to empty the water tank completely. This filter works well because it is weighted and rests properly on the bottom of the tank. Other filters I have tried are not weighted and do not stay close to the bottom of the tank.
