(More customer reviews)This is a great electric pressure washer. I used it to remove old paint from a deck and mildew from my home's siding. It took a while, but I was very pleased with the results. It had just enough power not to splinter the wood, and still do an adequate job of removing the paint. You can purchase other attachments on their website to make it more functional. I'm using it to power wash everything now, from my truck to the gas grill. I am very pleased with it.

The one that came with the powerwasher broke after about an hour of use. I bought this one to replace the original, but it broke almost instantly - within 30 seconds of beginning the first use it split open. The plastic structure could not handle the water pressure. Do not buy this item!

(More customer reviews)After owning one Karcher for a little over a year, the pump base cracked and lost pressure. I use pressure washers about twice a week, for no more than twenty minute periods with intervals of about 20 seconds on, 20-30 seconds off. We had banged it around a little and figured it had barely served its time. I figured it was a fluke, so I bought another Karcher. I baaabied this one. It may have lasted a month, I'm not sure, but it certainly failed in the exact same fashion as before, cracked lower pump housing. Exact same spot too, hmmm poor engineering???
So I sent the piece of crap back to Karcher, who slowly replaced it with a refurbished unit. But wait, another surprise inside the box. A disclaimer stating that this refurbished unit satisfies my original warranty and this replacement carries NO WARRANTY whatsoever. How can I make this poor pressure washer last more than a month? I build a rack and hang the washer on the wall, no stress on the little measly plastic wheels that never rolled out of the box. That's okay, wheels, your rolling days are over. Here, I have built you a throne.
The thing broke after three uses. Guess where. Yep, lower pump plastic outlet. There is absolutely no way this thing was abused or overused. Absolutely no stress on inlet or outlet hoses or fittings. Karcher, I loathe thee.

I've used larger, gasoline powered washers in the past, and those types of washers have quite a bit more power, but they are a pain to store, maintain, and move around. This little guy stores easily, is quick to set up and move, and blasts dirt, berries, and bird poop off my patio with no problems. It has an attachment for detergent, but I haven't used it yet. Unlike some other pricier washers, it does not have interchangeable tips, just a universal tip that adjusts from fine stream (most powerful) to spray. I wouldn't buy this for professional use (or even to clean all the siding in your house), but for small occasional jobs, it is great.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for my husband early April 2008, after reading reviews online. And we are VERY HAPPY with it. He pressure washed all our fences before we stained them, then washed a patio, a driveway, our pool filters numerous times, the siding on our house, etc. and he loves it. The pressure is very good, he's happy with the level of pressure he gets on the adjustable nozzle (some cheap models lose decent pressure if you choose a wider spray), and he liked that he could roll up the hose on the back of the unit when he was done, and I was extremely happy with the price.

(More customer reviews)I received this product about two weeks ago. I had a little trouble connecting the pressure hose, but once my husband helped it all worked. It did a good job removing moss from my flagstone deck and is easy to use.
However, there is both a pressure cord and a power cord and there are no hooks to wrap the cords on. I think that is why they do not show any cords in the picture.
I bought this one because it has an induction motor. Several of the other 1800 psi electric pressure washers do not have induction motors and in reading customer reviews, several people had trouble with the motors burning out on other models.
I only used the Karcher for 20-30 minutes at a time so I do not know if it can run for a couple of hours. I had no problems at all. I would recommend this for purchase.

It actually was too powerful for the kinds of jobs we needed. We were very happy with the new Campbell Haufeld 1300 pressure washer. It had enough power to clean the deck and lawn furniture easily. It is light and compact and much easier to use and store. I would have given this product 5 stars - but the auto detail kit was really not worth much. The pressure washer itself was a great deal!
