I presently have a normal middle of the road one from Lowes. Well the Lowes one beat this one out hands down.
This is pathetic at best if you are looking for pressure. If that is not the case it looks well made but the one I got from Lowes is as nice for a third of the price. Plan to return this.

(More customer reviews)We recently purchased this item to wash our windows and roof of our sunroom. My husband used this item first and said it was extremely heavy because the weight of the hose. The actual washer is light but once it is hooked up to a hose it becomes difficult to manuever. Also, the bottom piece that hooks up to the hose is plastic and ours snapped in half within 10 minutes of using this item, rendering the unit somewhat useless since we can no longer hook up a hose to it. Home Improvement Catalog advertises it as "Durable plastic and polypropylene design". Durable? NOT!
We continued to use this item without the hose attached, spraying first, then scrubbing. It's OK, (the telescoping part still works) but not worth the money we paid for it. The brushes themselves are great for washing the windows. Too bad they can't just sell a cheaper version of this item without the hose attachment.... which is basically what we have now.

(More customer reviews)I have a paver driveway which requires periodic spraying (approx twice a year) to get rid of the weeds and grass that sprout up between the cracks. I use a non-selective herbicide for this purpose, so I need to be very careful to avoid having any spray mist land on my grass (it doesn't take much to kill the grass accidently). This extendable sprayer does the trick nicely, as it allows me to put the spray tip very close to the survace of my driveway (without bending over), and avoid having any spray end up on the grass. This item is made of plastic, however, so it's not that durable. I had one break (exact same item) after being used about 5 or 6 times, so with my recently-purchased replacement, I will be sure to handle it gently. For the price, though, this item is a good buy, even without being very durable. I have a big driveway, and without this extandable wand to make bending over unnecessary, my back would be killing me. This wand allows me to stand up straight, and still have the tip of the wand be about an inch from the surface of the driveway.

So I decided to purchase two of these units and they work flawlessly. Never have a false reading. Product also comes with a 10 year warranty so hopefully I will not have to worry about replacing these for some time.
Very happy so far even though the price is high.

(More customer reviews)The waterjet power washer is a hose attachment that creates a jet stream of water. The idea behind it is to give the user the effect of a power washer without the cost. It does not accomplish this, but that does not mean it is not a good product.
Naturally, it can't change the water pressure coming out of a hose without adding power, so you can't really expect it to do that. What the product does is tighten the stream of water coming out of the end of the hose to artificially increase pressure, like placing your finger over part of the hose, but with greater consistency and accuracy. It does this well, but as you can figure, any cheap hose attachment typically has a "jet" function. Is the water jet more powerful than the jet function of a standard hose attachment? Maybe a little bit stronger, but not substantially.
What the product does do well is distance. The jet stream produced from this attachment is slightly stronger than the jet from a normal attachment, and travels about three times the distance. So if you are looking at cleaning the second floor windows, or rinsing something high up, then this attachment would do well. At close range, it is also sufficient for cleaning things like cars, walkways, and other stuff. The extra length means you don't need to worry about bending down if you are, for example, cleaning out a crack in the concrete in order to put in some filler. A true powerwasher may be too strong, and risk causing damage to vehicles, but the stream performed by this is safe, if it hits the skin it is not painful, although I wouldn't aim the water jet at the eyes.
So in other words, the added distance, and the convenience of not having to bend over to clean out cracks, tires, or brick walkways; make this a versatile, useful tool. It loses a star because no matter how I attach it, the thing leaks. I had to buy a rubber washer to solve this issue. It is also a bit pricey, when it offers only minor advantages to a cheap attachment available at any walmart. I would rate it 3.5, but I am giving it the benefit of the doubt.
